The SureFire EP4 Sonic Defender Plus earplugs are designed to safeguard your hearing against Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) while still allowing you to hear regular sounds and have conversations in noisy environments.
These earplugs feature a triple-flanged-stem that provides a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 24 dB.
They allow safe sound levels to pass into the ear canal, while effectively reducing potentially harmful noises (above 85 dB) with our exclusive noise-reducing filter.
Additionally, the EP4s come with attached filter caps that can be inserted for extra protection, blocking out lower-level noise typically encountered on airplanes, where hearing ambient sounds or conversations isn’t crucial.
These Sonic Defenders are made from a soft, durable, hypoallergenic polymer that ensures all-day comfort and extends the product’s lifespan (up to 6+ months, depending on usage and care).
