MRA Defiant Muzzle Brake
The Defiant Brake is a compact muzzle brake with large baffles and slightly angled impact faces designed to dramatically reduce recoil. The parallelogram – shaped baffles are located slightly above the center-line to provide a larger surface area on the bottom side creating down-force to reduce muzzle rise.

I have the early version
I have the early version of this brake (known as the Rogue, it is a few mm shorter). It is a amazing piece of equipment and worth every penny. It doesn’t make the area around you unbearable from the blast, but it certainly lets you hammer home double-taps super easy. A welcome addition to any rifle!

Put on the 4.5 lbs. Spring. Very crisp light pull, very shory reset but a few soft strikes with .223, I can only predict more failures with 5.56 ammo. Will try it with the 5.5 lbs spring and go back to the mil spec trigger if soft strikes continue. Fantastic service from the Maple Ridge team.
