Estimated to be from the early 1700s this lightly embellished antique has no visible markings.
No attempts were made to remove the action from the wood stock to look for markings. The previous owner was not interested in risking damage to the wood.
With no markings we are left guessing that this is likely Dutch or Belgian, but may possibly be Italian ( as per the seller).
While it does appear to be fully functional, it is highly recommended that this gun be carefully inspected before any attempt to fire it.
