Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus Bottomland

Bottomland is a dark, earthy pattern of bark, leaves and branches, built for hardwood forests, river bottoms and flooded timber. Because it blends into wooded cover rather than open marsh, it works for duck hunters in the trees and doubles well for turkey and other woodland hunts.

Yes. It's a 12 gauge with a 3½-inch chamber, which handles turkey loads, and the Bottomland camo suits spring and fall woods. The included chokes go up to Full, so many turkey hunters add an extra-full turkey choke for tighter patterns at longer range. Check Ontario's current rules on gauge and shot size for wild turkey before you head out.

The follower is the part that pushes shells up from the magazine tube. Beretta makes it bright green so you can see at a glance when the magazine is empty. That helps you reload faster in the blind and confirm the gun is clear when unloading.

This model is set up for right-handed shooters. Left-handed hunters can still shoot it, but ejected shells will travel across their line of sight. Contact us if you'd like help finding a setup that suits a left-handed shooter.
