SBE 3 – the full redesign of our venerable Super Black Eagle platform. With carefully considered insights from our pro-staff and veteran hunters, Benelli design engineers have spent nearly 10 years in development with a focus on three areas of critical importance to the serious waterfowler: Improved ergonomics, intuitive, flawless functionality and an updated design, style and feel for the latest in modern waterfowling reliability that’s all about the end game: Absolute superiority in the most unforgiving conditions.

Comfort Tech™ was the first of its kind. By splitting the stock diagonally and utilizing shock-absorbing chevrons, the entire stock was essentially turned into a recoil pad. This chevron system, now 13 years old, is still the most efficient design possible, and was the basis for the SBE 3 stock. The chevron size and location has been optimized on Comfort Tech 3. Furthermore, Benelli engineers have developed a new cheek comb pad, Combtech, which greatly reduces facial impact and vibrations.

How does the Benelli SBE 3 Marsh reduce recoil?

The SBE 3 uses Benelli's ComforTech stock, which is split diagonally and fitted with shock-absorbing chevrons, so the whole stock works like a recoil pad. A Combtech cheek pad adds another layer, cutting the impact and vibration that reach your face. That matters when you're shooting heavy 3½-inch steel loads all morning.

What are Benelli Crio chokes?

Crio chokes are cryogenically treated, a deep-freezing process Benelli also applies to its barrels to produce a smoother internal surface and denser, more consistent patterns. The SBE 3 Marsh includes five of them: Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified and Full, along with a choke wrench and reamer.

What is the stock drop adjustment kit for?

The included kit lets you change how high or low the stock sits relative to the barrel, so the gun fits your face and build. A shotgun that fits properly points where you look, which means more birds hit and fewer misses on crossing and decoying shots.

Should I choose the SBE 3 Marsh or the SBE 3 Timber?

They're the same shotgun with different Optifade camo. Choose the Marsh pattern if you hunt open wetlands, sloughs and big water. Choose the Timber pattern if you hunt flooded timber, river bottoms and wooded cover.
