The Black Creek Labs MRX Bison Scout 7.62×39 is a compact, light, and rugged bolt action rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm and fed with a DURAMAG aluminum, 5-round magazine. The vertical pistol grip and adjustable stock allow the rifle to be shot comfortably in any position. This rifle would be comfortable in its scabbard on the side of a horse, packed, slung or mounted onto a Utility Vehicle for ranch, range or backcountry duty.

This rugged and reliable firearm is perfect for hunting and sporting activities. The Bison sits in an aluminum, monolithic chassis and is available with 12.5-inch and 16.5-inch barrels. The Bison is a true utility bolt action compatible with AR15 magazines, stocks and grips and can accept universal 1913 pic rail accessories. With its 7.62×39 chambering, this rifle is ideal for taking down medium-sized game at close to mid-range distances.

The MRX Bison Scout is built with high-quality materials and customizable options. For example, a barrel shroud can be added to the MRX Bison to safeguard the barrel against impacts in rugged environments or to mount forward optics, such as night vision, for enhanced accuracy. Fitted with the TriggerTech trigger, the pull can be adjusted from 2.5 to 5 lbs. to customize the feel of this smooth, single-stage “zero creep” trigger.

• Chassis – Machined from aircraft grade aluminum. Finished with Type III hard coat anodize and Cerakote.  The chassis comes with side and under rail MLOK mounting points and an integral “one point” QD sling point on the opposite side of the bolt

• Barrel – 12.5 inch Match Grade Steel Barrel finished with Nitride and Cerakote
• Trigger – TriggerTech Remington 700 Primary Trigger
